چکیده
During water electrolysis, adding an electrocatalyst for the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) is necessary to reduce activation barrier and thus enhance rate. Metal chalcogenide-based 2D nanomaterials have been studied as alternative noble metal electrocatalysts because of their interesting electrocatalytic properties low costs production. However, difficulty in improving catalytic efficiency industrializing synthetic methods become a problem potential application these species electrocatalysis. Liquid-phase exfoliation (LPE) low-cost scalable technique lab- industrial-scale synthesis 2D-material colloidal inks. In this work, we present, best our knowledge, first time systematic study on surfactant-assisted LPE bulk Bi2S3 crystalline powder produce nanosheets (NSs). Different dispersing agents conditions tested order obtain low-dimensional NSs H2O at optimized concentrations. Eventually, colloidally stable layered nano-sized suspensions can be produced with yields up ~12.5%. The obtained proven more active HER than starting material, showing overpotential only 235 mV Tafel slope 125 mV/dec. Our results provide facile top-down method through green approach demonstrate that material good HER.

Surfactant mediated liquid phase exfoliation of graphene
Commercialization of graphene based applications inevitably requires cost effective mass production. From the early days of research on graphene, direct liquid phase exfoliation (LPE) of graphite has been considered as the most promising strategy to produce high-quality mono or few-layer graphene sheets in solvent dispersion forms. Substantial success has been achieved thus far in the LPE of gr...
متن کاملFew‐Layer Antimonene by Liquid‐Phase Exfoliation
We report on a fast and simple method to produce highly stable isopropanol/water (4:1) suspensions of few-layer antimonene by liquid-phase exfoliation of antimony crystals in a process that is assisted by sonication but does not require the addition of any surfactant. This straightforward method generates dispersions of few-layer antimonene suitable for on-surface isolation. Analysis by atomic ...
متن کاملNew insights into the prevention and treatment strategies for hypertrophic scars and keloids
Hypertrophic scars and keloids are fibrosis abnormalities associated with the accumulation of collagen and extra cellular matrix components. These scars are caused by abnormal wound healing, which may occur after skin injuries caused by surgery, trauma, burns, etc. and may have a large impact on the patients’ quality of life. Hypertrophic scars and colloids in addition to aesthetic problems can...
متن کاملSolvothermal-assisted liquid-phase exfoliation of graphite in a mixed solvent of toluene and oleylamine
We report an effective method for producing graphene sheets using solvothermal-assisted exfoliation of graphite in a mixed solvent of toluene and oleylamine. The mixed solvent of toluene and oleylamine produces higher yield of graphene than its constituents, oleylamine and toluene. The oleylamine molecules with its long chain enwrap the graphene sheets efficiently, while toluene helps the oleyl...
